They could become celibit. I know that if getting in relationships was getting in the way of my faith I'd do it. Ofcourse, I'd be a virgin all my life. I couldn't honestly say because I'm not gay and I don't know how it feels but its not genetics. yeah there could be a gene that is activated, but its no different than any illness. You fight the impules just like anyother sin. Don't try to make it special, its not.

EXACTLY! You're not gay. So how can you tell them how to deal with it? How could you know what it's like? Even if you were to ask a gay person what it's like you still couldn't possibly tell them how to get "ungay" if you yourself have never experienced what it's like.

Really Succ?Cuz I remember you saying that you've never met anyone who was gay. So is this some lie just to prove your point? And if it isn't then either they were just confused about something or their just bi.

A few things. First, you don't go 'ungay.' It's like an alcoholic never stops being an alcoholic, they merely stop drinking.
Second, it's easier to get STD's through a lack of contraception - hence the Africa epedemic. What 'position' you have sex in makes no difference.
Thirdly, so being gay is bad cos there are no kids from that relationship, yet you have to wait till you get married to have a kid in a heterosexual marriage anyway? What's the difference?
It's a mix of genetic, environmental and hormonal factors - as is alcoholism I believe. Tests were done which stated that some people had more of an inbuilt disposition to become drink-dependant.
I liked the famine points, plus the STD's over in the poverty stricken areas. So he kills off all these heterosexual people, yet gays are merely 'damned,' by which time it's too late?
It's called acceptance. Anything else is disregard.

So let me get this right. People are born gay?
So if Chester down the street likes having sex with little boys, was he just BORN a pediphile?
If Susie is into doing disgusting things with her cat, she was BORN that way?
Those pornos they sell with woman blowing horses, were those women BORN liking horses?
Being gay is a sin, just like any other sexual deviation any other action that is agianst God's plan. I had a best frind that was gay, and at the time I wasn't practicing my faith, I beleived the same BS about being born that way that you guys are spewing. And I never witnessed to him, and he died in a car accident. So he's in Hell, no matter how nice of a person he was(and he was a great guy). I've also met two men and one woman that have been redeamed and saved from the sin of homosexuality, so don't give me that either.
Sorry to be so blunt, but I see why Seraphim wanted me to come here now

Yes! Accepting the holy spirit will knock any or most sin out of you. If your a habitual liar, you will start telling the truth, if you're gay, you'll ungay if you drink you'll stop are atleast have the strength and will to. Things will change, thats how you turn from the sin of homosexuality.

Absolutly, The Holy Spirit can deliver you from any sin that is dominating your life. And homosexuality is a sin. And if you all think that the fact that we hate the sin, that mean we hate the homosexual, you're wrong. Oh yeah, there are so called 'christians' that hold up thier 'God hates fags' signs, but those people are not real christians. Noone filled with any hate towards any of his fellow man is a true christian. I care about every single person's salvation now. Which is new for me since I spent most of my life as a self centered jock pretty boy exploiting my parent's wealth. God can do wonderful things for you, if you take your eyes off the world, and focus on him. I'm not saying anything non christian is to be avoided, I still love watching secular movies and some secular music that doesn't push to far. Just don't give those things more time than you give to God. Sorry about the sermon guys, I tend to ramble once I get started about something I'm passionate about, and God is one of those things... Later
