*shakes head* See, I understand where you're coming from and for some reason I can't put into words where I'm coming from which you won't understand because I'd beat that you've never been where I am because you're a non-believer and if you were ever where I am now you'd still be here. There is a much deeper way to help people. When they need someone to listen and confide things in they can tell me and I can help them carry that weight until we both give it to God. Its been so long since I've done it anyother way that its fuzzy how I ever helped anyone without caring enough to be weighted down.

Which of course limits your effective help to Christians, and therefore doesn't make you of much use to the majority. I can multi-task however, regardless of religion etc. And it's not actually YOU that's helping, it's God. Therefore you help very little, unlike me.

You don't have to be religious to feel the weight of someone else's pain. Any of my friends can talk to me and I'll listen and help them out. I can be sympathetic and help people just as good as any religious person. My friends would be relying on ME to help them out, not God. Otherwise they wouldn't have asked and probably just prayed instead.

There is only so much man can do. I turn things over to God who is much more powerful than any man can be and far more comforting than any amount of sweet, soft words.

It's probably more comforting than having to wait for something that will or won't happen.

If you trust that God heard you and know that what you have asked for was with good intention, you will recieve what you have asked for.

In other words, your saying that if you don't believe in God your basically living for no reason. Right? You don't need religion to care for people or to have feelings. It's called being HUMAN, and a good-hearted person. They're emotions that anyone can have. It happens to EVERYONE, religious or not.

Through my eyes, yes that is what I believe life without God is cold empty and meaningless.

So then you'd judge other people just because they don't believe in God right?

It is not my place, job or right to judge others.

But that's basically what your doing when you and your friend say that If people don't believe in God we'r screwed. Then your trying to "make us see the light" or whatever you wanna call it and try to convert us or something.

Our words don't damn you, our words are informing you. I haven't judged you.

Their not informing me of anything I don't already know or anything I'd want to be informed about.

When have I done that? When have I gone, "No, that's not right. It really means......"?
